We snuck into the drive-in,  

Well before dark,  

With our hands in the air,  

We were young, we were sparks.  

Flickering stars on our faces,  

Every moment felt so right,  

Growing up in the shadows,  

Those drive-in nights.

Now we’re older, life’s a movie,  

But those scenes will never fade,  

I still hear the laughter echo,  

In the dreams that we made.  

With a cup of soda spillin’,  

And your hand in mine so tight,  

Forever feels like yesterday,  

In those drive-in nights.

So here’s to all the memories,  

Chasing dreams that never die,  

We’ll forever be those kids,
