Saint Tropez Market

I will be officially blogging for the Saint Tropez Market, which opens tomorrow! This is a special summer event, for fashionistas to go shopping in a relaxing, harmonious setting. Judging from the lineup, this is one we do not want to miss! The Saint Tropez Market will be open from July 17th through August 27th, and I hope to see you there.

Vintage Beachwear

There's only two more days left to grab the oh-so-marvelous items available at the Summer Time Fair. In this post, I'm sharing a beautiful swimsuit by French Vintage Couture, called Barbara. It is available in different colors in fitted mesh. This swimsuit is extremely sexy and appealing in its vintage style. Also at the fair, CS Tattoo is offering several intriguing tattoos; this one is a trio of roses across the back. Want to show off your sexy back in swimwear? This tattoo is a lovely accent.

These fantastic heels are created by Opopop! Presenting...drumroll...Maloa. They can be worn as high heeled slides, or make the straps visible on the hud, and pick your own color combos! Note: the Maloa heels are rigged for Slink High feet. They do work well with my Physique body and shape; I believe that's because the Slink mesh body closely follows the structure of the system body.

Here's a pretty somethin-somethin for you. This is JANNA by AnaLee Balut. This outfit comes with the fitted mesh dress (in most fits, I'm wearing Maitreya), a flower crown, jewelry and heels for Slink High. The texturing with yellow background is marvelous! The dress also has a bottom flexi trim. You will find JANNA at L'Exode's Summer Time Fair ongoing now.

I'm also wearing a new hairstyle by Rezology, called Voluminous Topknot. Yay for another lovely updo! Musing...I should probably start showing you different colors of Rezology hairstyles, or you might think it's a just blondes club. Not true. Actually, the accompanying hud with each hairstyle is wonderful; you can create any color. Now how's that for cool ??

Cooling Off In The Ocean

On a hot, sticky day...have you ever just wanted to slip off the side of a boat into the ocean...no matter what you're wearing? I would never do that in real life. For one thing, it's too engrained from childhood. "Don't ruin your pretty shoes, honey." "Change your dress before you go outside to play!" It seemed fun things were not for nice clothing. 

The second reason I would never do it - I can't swim. Really. Oh I took lessons. As a teen and again as an adult. There are a couple of swim instructors who still bear the wounds. Sheepish expression. I made sure my kids took lessons at a very early age.

And yet, I love the water. I love being in it, even completely underwater...just too scared to let go and float. Inner tubes serve me well. We have an outdoor hot tub, that's more my speed. But in my Second Life? I'm going to do it, slip in the ocean, pretty dress and all, and cool off.
