At the table of plenty, a tapestry of plates,
Where each heart's desire finds its culinary mates.
Veggie soup steams, a warm and gentle hue,
A dance of flavors, a comforting view.
Sushi slices, a marvelous delight,
Ocean's treasure wrapped in rice so white.
The family gathers, a spectrum of taste,
Where each dish tells a story, each one a haste.
Deli sandwiches stand tall with meaty grace,
Layered with love, in a warm embrace.
A symphony of textures, a blend so right,
Where bread meets filling, in a bite-sized fight.
Salads whisper with greens so fresh and crisp,
Toppings scattered like jewels in a dish.
A garden's bounty, dressed with care,
A silent sonnet, that needs no air.
Why does my family want different things to eat,
When the same meal time our hearts do meet?
Because we're woven from threads of diverse taste,
Where every mouthful, a memory to chaste.
Our plates are canvases for a culinary art,
Where love is the brush and food is the heart.
Each dish a verse, each flavor a line,
In the grand poem of our mealtime design.
