All dolled up with nowhere to go

Gotta learn how to move to the groove

Give in, or get out

Put your hands in the air, stand up

In your chair and shout

You're all dolled up with nowhere to go

You wanna get out and put on a show

There's nothing wrong with staying home

As long as you've got your radio

It won't be long til the summers gone

Get your party on, so we'll sing along

Hold on tight, it's a crazy night

Get your party on, so we'll scream it

Gifts at AURUS and GENUS PROJECT

Good evening!  Did you survive the 4th of July weekend?  We did, barely.  Had to wrap up my little dog in a baby blankie and hold him close to me most of the night.  When I would "free" him, he'd scurry back in.  People just don't think (or care) how fireworks affect children, animals, military vets, early rising pandemic necessary workers - pointing at hubby.  Tonight, we were SAVED by a storm, so the pyromaniacs stayed indoors.

I tell ya, blogging is my relaxing escapism.  Hop over to AURUS Cosmetics to pick up the July Group Gift - Alana Nails.  These are for Maitreya and Slink hands, and have a texture hud for different pretty looks.  Express your patriotic fashion style throughout the year.

I'm also wearing Egozy skin; this is FoxyV2 for BOM.  Makeup adds are purely from my head hud, and by the way!  If you haven't heard, Genus Project has reopened, yay!  Expect to see many updates which have been in the works and newness on the way.  This is the Strong Face (GIFT001).  Go get yours between the stampedes.  Quite honestly, I wasn't sure if I would like this face - remember, I suffer greatly with virtual head identity crises.  Well.  Okay.  WOW.  She sure is pretty.

Stay safe, and happy shopping!

Are we leaving this Garden of Eden?

Remember when we swam in the ocean?

Now we know what's deep inside

Remember when we ran in the open?

Now we know what's in the wild

Used to think that this love was heaven sent

How did we get lost? Can't get back again

Tell me, is there light on the outside?

So are we leaving this Garden of Eden?

Are we leaving this Garden of Eden?

Used to walk around your apartment

Nothing but a smile on me

But tonight I'm so self conscious

Isn't it so clear to see?

Nothing's ever perfect in paradise

Don't know what it's worth 'til you pay the price

When you bite your tongue does it draw blood?

So are we leaving this Garden of Eden?

Are we leaving this Garden of Eden?

Now I know what I know

But it’s hard to find the meaning

Where do we go?

It's best to ignore baby octopuses as they creep about in the sand

After all, THEY don't know they're inflatable and we wouldn't want them to pop prematurely.

The plural of octopus is debatable.  Octopuses, octopi, octopodes.  Researching, it appears octopuses is the most correct.  However, historically it was best not to say "octopuses" at the tea table.  Octopods, dropping the 'e,' became more preferred in English usage.

You really needed to know that, right?

Happy shopping!
