Pretzel Logic

This post could have gone another subtle yet obvious way, but I chose not to (said with emphasis like William Hurt's quote in The Big Chill).  Sticking with the high road, what is pretzel logic?  It's faulty reasoning compared to the shape of a classic pretzel - circular, full of holes, and twists in on itself.  Steely Dan released a song called Pretzel Logic in 1974 about coming to terms with the passage of time.  We could also compare with politics!  But I digress....

Let's just have fun in our Second Life virtual world with summer sun, fashion and...a pretzel floatie.  ;)

Happy shopping!

The Note Says Only After Dark

I find myself in her room

Feel the fever of my doom

Falling falling

Through the floor

I'm knocking on the devil's door yeah

In the dawn

I wake up to find her gone

And the note

Says "only after dark"

Burning burning in the flame

Now I know her secret name

You can tear her temple down

But she'll be back and rule again yeah

In my heart a deep and dark

And lonely part

Wants her and waits for

After dark

What To Do When He Doesn't Bring You Flowers

You don't bring me flowers

You don't sing me love songs

You hardly talk to me anymore

When I come through the door at the end of the day

I remember when

You couldn't wait to love me

Used to hate to leave me

Now after lovin' me late at night

When it's good for you, babe

And you're feeling alright

Well, you just roll over

And you turn out the light

And you don't bring me flowers anymore

~~ You Don't Bring Me Flowers, Neil Diamond

So I bought some for myself.

Using your lindens.

I can roll with it.  ;)

Exit To Eden - Pleasure Compound

I think I just pulled off the most G-rated BDSM photo ever.  And solo, no less.  ;)  Remember Exit to Eden?  I love that half funny/half sexy little movie.  It's one of my "guilty pleasures."  The book is subject-sexy and quite a page turner.  They couldn't figure out how to adapt a film version mainstream so voila, let's add a comedic aspect with some big names.  I didn't mind, the idea and cute main couple components are still there, along WITH the giggles.

Shop the Boardwalk event to create your own romantic area, with or without BDSM roleplay.  The animations, texture changes, rezzables, structures and decor with these items are wonderful!  For further consideration, the event does have a demo area.

Happy shopping!

In perfect harmony

I'd like to hold it in my arms

And keep it company

I Have Waited For The Rain To Come

Ocean blue
What have I done to you?
Cut so deep
Yet growing through and through

Drawn apart
New York and London
All I see now
Are distant drumlins
The roads I knew
Became a city
And I wonder
Will you wait for me?

Though

I'm far away
I know I'll stay, I know I'll stay
Right there with you
And though
It might be too late
What would you say? What would you say?
What would you do?

Over and over
Many setting suns
I have run
I have waited for the rain to come
When through that mist
I see the shape of you
And I know, and I know
That I'm in love with you
