Tresses and elegance

Among these tresses, God-given gift,

Melancholy rests among the gentle waves

Whose faint green scent suggests the future.

Dusk creeps through the window,

Time passes by, silently.

Elegant attire with pearls

Again and again scattered by your gentle caress.

I faint and am carried away into the sea

Where I hear Maria’s hymn

Echoing far way, inviting.

 Together, silent on this night,

Exotic dreams fade, pile up waves.

Ah! Oblivion, wind, swaying …. 

These tresses, transparent in my thoughts,

In the hopes of bringing life,

I comb them every morning,

And adorn them with flowers.
