What Kind of Blogger Are You?

What kind of blogger are you, ladies and gents? Are you: (1) a Fashion Blogger, (2) an Artistic Photographer, (3) a Furniture/Decor Blogger w/Landscaping, or (4) some combination of the above?

I find myself blogging more and more furniture and decor, along with fashion items, and really enjoy it. However, some of the fashion items can be quite small and require closeups. When I include several accessory items in the same post, I must include more than one pic. For example, in the above pic, I'm showing a wonderful build by Chez Moi. If I promoted just that pic, you wouldn't be able to clearly see my !Musa! eyeshadow, Zuri Rayna jewelry, Zoz nails, and Promagic anklets. 

Often, I will ooh and ahh over artistic pics by bloggers, and wonder what techniques they used. I have a very healthy respect for their artistry. The downside is that, sometimes, I'm not even sure what they are promoting, if they ARE promoting anything other an exquisite avatar and glorious landscaping. I used to get confused by that, and realized, while I want to keep improving my photography, I'm happy being a Fashion & More Blogger.

There is no "shame" in simply being a fashion blogger. We bloggers are usually blogging for specific stores, and the designers want their items to be shown to best advantage. It's our job to do that, and a wonderful job it is.

In my experience, most designers do not want overly processed pics. They want the true colors of the items to be presented just as they are. Use post-editing skills sparingly on clear pics and you'll wind up with lovely pics for your post.

Even if you only add one or two pics to Flickr, if you're blogging accessories include more pics on your blog. Don't cheat your sponsors by making potential customers have to squint to see the items!

Blogging is an honor. It means someone thinks your work and stats are good, good enough to pass you items to share with your readers. So let's do them proud!

On Wings of Butterflies

I have lots of pretties to share with you in this post. Question for other bloggers - do you ever take a set of pics, pull them into your post, and for some reason, you don't like them? I have redone this collection of pics for the third time! It became a do-or-die mission! lol

First up is a lovely set of jewelry by Chop Zuey. This is the I Am Sam Necklace and Earrings. Sam I Am? This could make really fun conversation! The "S" is encrusted with diamonds. The necklace is actually short - I pulled it down farther to work with the cowl neck of my Amarelo Manga complete outfit, called Lu. This colorful collection includes the dress, sunglasses, cluth and matching shoes, with loads of fit options.  The heels are for Slink High feet.

Mayfly Eyes...look at them quickly; I'm putting on my shades now!

My hairstyle is by Rezology - they keep coming up with personal instant faves! I'll bet if I like it, you will too. This is an updo named Sky 198, and I've purposely shown you different angles so you can easily see the elegant styling.

Poses are by NANTRA in a set called Butterflies Are Free. These are available now at The Instruments. Each pose has an add-on of butterflies and these poses are wonderful! Be free with the butterflies.

Coming Back to Nature

Emberotic's Fashion Designs has released this cool outfit called 69 Silver Leather with multiple fit options. I'm wearing the Maitreya and if fits like a glove! The out includes the cross necklace, leather arm bracers and even a tattoo that covers the belly, arms and back, and depicted here. Thumbs up on this one!

Tooty Fruity's Platform Heels became the perfect accessory for the outfit. These are platforms on a mission, for sure. There is an extensive colorchange hud included so don't worry, these don't always stay "black goth." Pick just about any color for fresh, new looks! These fabulous heels fit Belleza, Maitreya and Slink feet.

I know I keep alternating between my Lelutka and Catwa heads. I like them both. This is Candy and she certainly is pretty. With so many options released for Catwa heads, as a blogger I had to have it, and this one is my favorite. I think the lip shape is lovely.

The closeup is beneficial for focusing on my Rezology hair. This style is called Blunted Topknot. Look at the nice work on the bangs framing my face. A lovely salon cut!

Pensacola at Sunset

A glass of wine, the beach at sunset...what could be better. Oh wait, how about spying a hot guy off in the distance.

I quickly strike a sultry pose hoping to catch his attention, while I imagine us us together. I'm wearing my Pensacola outfit by Flippant, that should do the trick. With multiple huds, this set is highly versatile, even down to the feathers on the belt and sandals.
