The Lady of the Night is a particularly beautiful, delicate flower. It blooms only at night, and no more than one night. That struck me as so poignant I actually teared up. Such glorious, yet fleeting, beauty. I was reminded of this flower while I worked on this post - this lovely gown and exquisite jewelry, a lady in the moonlight who will disappear come morning.
