It's Gonna Be a Hot Summer

If Second Life Fashion is an indication, and I'm sure it is, it's going to be a hot, HOT summer in more ways than one! Are you working on your tans yet?

I decided to build this post around Chez Moi's Ibiza Beach Tent, Pillow and Inflatable Mattress. These items are available at the Mainstore and on Marketplace. The tent and mattress include animations for singles and couples, with rezzable props, and the mattress includes animated floats! This set is perfect for sun lovers.

My .Sass. bikini is a sizzling applier for Classic & Omega, called [Milly]. This string set is in Pink or Teal, take your pick - or take both. Each set includes color in light, medium and dark. You will find [Milly] by .Sass. at the BombShells Event now!

Slipper Originals released some jewelry for us sun lovers! It is delicate and pulls attention to interesting places, wouldn't you agree? The pieces are Eternal Circle Necklace & Earrings, Love Hip Chain, and Beaded Hip Chain. Click the first three to change metals and beads. The Beaded Hip Chain comes with its own Hud, show below, to coordinate with all your summerwear! Or, intimate wear.  Or, nothing at all wear. ;) Wearing jewelry IS being clothed, after all.

Here's a new hairstyle release by > Asset<. Say hello to Nana! Nana is mesh with ponytails (one in back, one sweeping over the right shoulder). >Asset < now presents a brand new color hud - see pic below. The hair ties change color too.

Swank opens its event doors tomorrow! Here's a last sneak peek post featuring a lovely gown by Jumo available at the event. This is Dominique in Plum; she comes in standard mesh sizes, with spectacular jewelry! I feel like a spring fairy princess wearing it.

Asset is stirring up some new excitement for us with this lovely hairstyle called Nuzzle. As you can see, it's a long style with beautiful waves that sweeps over the left shoulder to the front, leaving an exposed back (perfect for Jumo's backless dress anchored with beads). Asset is busy creating and I'll have more hairstyles to show you in upcoming posts. Plus! There are new colors! See textures ad below.

Heaven is Golden

Morea Style's new release, called Heaven, is a magnificently elegant formal gown for Classic and Mesh Bodies. I ran straight over to the store to pick up the matching heels, called Sunshine. This gown and the heels are also available in red!

My First Tattoo

On June 1st, the Olala Fashion Event returns! Here are two preview goodies to share with you in this post, along with some other great releases. Topping the bill, since it's a surprising item to find featured on Laura's Lair, is this tattoo by Black Butterflii. My first tattoo! I was very hesitant. But I love it! The design is simple yet elegant. Everyone has their own style, and tattoos, as with so many other things, are extremely personal. This is a lovely example of what Black Butterflii offers and it will be available at Olala.

All poses are by XXY and also available at Olala in June. The collection is called "I Am a Diva." How many of us have our diva moments? Or maybe more than moments? I Am A Diva poses look great at any angle. Pick these up for your diva times!

My tank is by Virtual Diva. I really like this one - the texture and colors prompt a vintage-to-modern style. It's cropped in the front for cute belly exposure and longer in the back. The back edge has a nice preparatory bottom curve so it molds over these brand-new NoName jeans instead of issues wearing the pieces together. NoName Tara jeans come with a Hud for 6 different color options, making them a fine option to grab for many different looks.

Stars! presents depicted jewelry in an Earth Stones set. Bet you can't pick just one color set! This hairstyle is by Asset, called Consuelo. The item includes small flowers up top, and a larger array in the back, and yes, there's a colorchange Hud.
