Subtle Is Clearly Not My Forte

The Trunk Show returns on April 19th! Yay, one of our favorites returneth! Close in time to the returneth of Game of Thrones. But I digress....

As I was saying in my title, subtle is clearly not my forte. It's certainly not my tone of choice. And it usually isn't Zibska's either. Here's another excitingly different release, the Amaranth set. It is lavish. It is eye catching. It is perfect for any soiree WITH color selections, I might add. The set also includes my Eye Makeup and Lips.

My hairstyle by [NYNE], called Casabella. This style is super playful and flirty with a whole lotta sex appeal. An updated Marilyn? Pick colors or take the fatpack. I'm partial to the Ombres set.

Coal Miner's Daughter

Well, I was borned a coal miner's daughter

In a cabin, on a hill in Butcher Holler

We were poor but we had love

That's the one thing that daddy made sure of

He shoveled coal to make a poor man's dollar

My daddy worked all night in the Van Lear coal mines

All day long in the field a hoin' corn

Mommy rocked the babies at night

And read the Bible by the coal oil light

And ever' thing would start all over come break of morn

Daddy loved and raised eight kids on a miner's pay

Mommy scrubbed our clothes on a washboard ever' day

Why I've seen her fingers bleed

Vintage Fair - The Legend of Bonnie and Clyde

Bonnie was a waitress in a small cafe

Clyde Barrow was the rounder that took her away

They both robbed and killed until both of them died

So goes the Legend of Bonnie and Clyde

The poems that she wrote of the life that they led

Told of the lawmen left dyin' or dead

Some say that Clyde, made her life a shame

But the legend made Bonnie the head of the game

The rampage grew wilder with each passing day

The odds growin' smaller with each get-a-way

With the end growin' closer the harder they fought

With blood on their hands they were bound to get caught

They drove back from town on one bright summer day

When a man they befriended stepped out in the way

With no thought of dyin' they pulled to the side

But death lay there waiting for Bonnie and Clyde

Two years of runnin' was ended that day

For robbin' and killin' they both had to pay

But we'll always remember how they lived and died

So goes the Legend of Bonnie and Clyde

L'Elite Event - Pastel Lolita

The Lolita Round continues at L'Elite until the end of the month. I had a lot of fun trying out [NYNE]'s hair shades and additional highlights on Dabur, a long, swept to the side, wavy ponytail with a braided enclosure. It's really beautiful.

.Viki. has a cute little choker gacha at the event, called Lolita Heart Collar. The Rares of Lights and Darks consist of huds with all colors, and a more ornate heart.

My Betsy Dress is by Pin Up Tattoo & Style, and is an EVENT GROUP GIFT! Pick up yours, it's figure fitting and delightful. More on the to-die-for stockings and heels below.

Eye Appliers and Lashes are by MIRAGE, and I'm very impressed! Both are strikingly beautiful, the eyes being engagingly luminous. That's not an easy task working with textures, well done!

Panda face adorable stockings! Okay, Porcelan just moved my Lolita interest into the cutesy category, because ohmigosh they're cute! These are called Kawaii Panda. I paired them with Tooty Fruity's Amelia Platforms which have instantly become a personal fave. They are cute yet elegant at the same time.

The scene I'm using was created by Luxury Fashion called SexyBadGirl. It comes with all you see in the pic, including the pose! Just rez and bam, you have a dream Lolita bedroom!--and a teddy bear. ;) I love the aquarium.
