Siena kitchen with living pantry


When my partner Callie and I switch houses, I get busy, happily decorating all over again!  Check out Chez Moi's Siena Kitchen Collection.  The collection is attractive and compact, serving small spaces.  For larger spaces it blends in well with other furniture and decor.  Kraftwork's Living Pantry had my eyes dilating due to the realistic presentation.  You can find it at Access until July 8th.

Sunlit serenity


On the deck where sunbeams play,
With whispered winds that sway and dance,
I lounge in warmth, let worries stray,
A moment caught in summer's glance.

The garden calls with blooms so bright,
Each petal tells of nature's care,
In fragrant beds of pure delight,
I lose myself—no haste, no glare.

With gentle hands, I tend the green,
The soil crumbles beneath my touch,
While laughter echoes soft and keen,
Each leaf and bud feels loved so much.

The sun drapes gold on all it sees,
As shadows stretch and hours glide;
Here time stands still beside the trees,
In this safe nook where hearts abide.

Our Beach


This breeze, the smell of sea, the sunset.
Every time I go down to that place I'm always reminded.
The times I went there with you
they were amazing and then I found out who you really are.

Do you remember when I promised you
that house on the hill where you said we'd have this every day.
Do you remember when you promised me
that you were for real and I said I want this for the rest of my days.

It's funny how things can change
and now I'm left with meaningless carvings on the stand,
a trace of my own steps on the sand.
This was not meant to be, this view won't let me forget.
This will now be my beach, this is my beach.
