My Retreat

Some evenings, wouldn't a retreat be nice? Away from responsibilities, just some good ole "me" time. Image Essentials has created a build with poses to do just that! It's called My Retreat. All poses here plus more are included! My Retreat is available at the Black Fashion Fair, and I haven't given you much time to get it since the fair ends tomorrow. :-O

My lovely braided tresses are called Frostbite by Rezology! The hairstyle was inspired by oh, some adorable animated movie. ;) Frostbite is rigged mesh and the style can go from casual to elegant with the click of an inventory finger. I particularly like it because you can easily see jewelry and the front of an outfit as well as the back, but you still have long, luxurious hair. The texturing is gorgeous!

Ready for one of my usual comments? Okay....Mayfly Eyes. Nuff said.

My exquisite jewelry is by Zuri Jewelry, called the Czarina V1 Elite Collection. The set consists of necklace, earrings and bracelets and includes extensive colorchange menus! This collection will go with any colors you desire.

Savannah Spring

Guess what. I dragged some more fun stuff home to Laura's Lair. ;) It's springtime in Savannah. I've decided to stay home today, and let a little fresh air in. A "guest" may be arriving soon, so I tidied myself and the house up. Braids became the style of the moment, compliments of my Phoenix Hair named Janet. Janet is available at the Black Fashion Fair. I swear Lilly Herberg outdoes herself with each new hairstyle! 

I'm wearing my Suntime outfit, designed by Flippant. Is this kee-ewt or what?? It's really a whole outfit, including the little denim dress in standard mesh sizes, hair flower, resizable mesh belt, and Slink Flat sandals! This outfit AND Spring Fling Nail Appliers by Flippant are being showcased now at the Swank Event.

I believe I'll relax a bit before company arrives. It's very comfortable in my livingroom with the Savannah Spring furniture collection by Park Place. I always enjoy their releases, and this one is lovely as always. The items are well made in fresh spring, coordinating colors. The chairs have quite a few M/F sit animations, and in addition to sit animations on the couch, there are some very sweet couple animations!

I've added a darling little furniture/decor set by Zen Creations. This is the Spring Blackboard Art Table Set and it includes all the very spring-like items you see here. I've Been Poison Ivy'd

Here we go. If you followed my last post HERE, I promised another pic modeling Poison Ivy's Mellow hair with its intended hairbase. The hairbase is suitable for Classic or Omega. Well, I'm pretty much hooked on my Lelutka mesh head so I scrambled. I had to break out my Catwa Gwen head with update (and add-on pack of expressions) which I had not yet tinkered with. It was actually a fun experience playing with the expressions! I now have a saved "outfit" with my Catwa Gwen, and able to show you Mellow's hairbase! In conclusion, while the Lelutka hairbase works just fine, it IS a different look, rather like the shave has grown out a bit. This Omega hairbase by Poison Ivy is "really" shaved and looks great with the hairstyle.

My outfit is also by Poison Ivy and I think it's super cute, sexy and textured well! This is Lollipop and she is available at the store along with other newnesses.

She comes with a shaved base for Classic & Omega application, which I am not wearing here (I am wearing a Lelutka hairbase). It looks pretty good like this, BUT in my next post I will be wearing the Omega applier. I already have the pic ready; just need to finish the credits.
