Yes, indeed, some pretties this go-round! Desmonia's new release, Elena Braid, is marvelous in elegance and appeal. I added L'Etre's Babyhair base for a finished hair line. Notice I have on my CatWa Catya Bento head - I couldn't resist shelling out lindens for League's new Sadie skin and shape. I kept the face unchanged and added my own body sliders. I really like it! But you know me, I'm mesh fickle - we'll see long I keep it on. ;) She is certainly sensual, a more mature beauty that my usual with Lelutka's Chloe.

Hudson's Clothing Company released jewelry sets easily paired together - My Pearls Black Jewel Set, and Bangles. They're very pretty and versatile, moving from elegance to goth to rock to...well, you get the idea. My lingerie is by Sn@tch, the Kitten Latex Retro set with matching Laced Stockings. Tres sexy! Check out the ad pic below for what the stockings look like from the rear.

The pose is pretty spectacular. It's by Image Essentials, part of the Brat set (Version 2) available at the Twe12ve event until the end of the month. Love 'em bunches. These are Bento poses so have lots of fun with those hands and make your own pictures.

Why Am I So Sad

Why AM I so sad. It's not over my pretty jewelry by Hudson's. It's not anything about my awesome tattoo by Lush. It's certainly not to-do with my ZOZ polish. So You Wanna Be a Blogger Tip #1

I am by no means a "best of the best" Second Life blogger. Sometime, I think I'll do a post and share several names who I think ARE! But I'm definitely a dedicated blogger, work hard, and love learning to improve my photography skills. Maybe some day I WILL be a "best of the best." But it's the climb, as the song goes, right? :-)

I have been blogging Second Life Fashion (and more) for wow, almost 3 years. Occasionally, I'm going to start sharing some tips for new bloggers. I believe it's very important to share knowledge and help others, and when a past-time is this fun and rewarding, why not share? So many people have assisted me, I'm very happy to pass tips along.

Tip #1 - Amass poses. Seriously. You will need all sorts of poses. Start out with searches on Marketplace for "free pose," or "pose gift." Look up any pose creator and search price low to high. Shop inworld and check for gift or discounted poses. There are also photography aids and props that contain poses. Hunt them down and add them to your inventory! You don't want to be taking pics while standing in the same pose all the time. Read the credits on blogger posts when you notice a great pose - they should provide enough information for you to track it down.

If you haven't checked out the Pose Fair, you only have 2 more days! Talk about some poses! It's a great place to even window shop for what's out there, and collect LMs for the designers that impressed you.

I'll be sharing more info about poses in upcoming posts; I am fortunate enough to blog for several wonderful pose makers and I love to toot a horn for them!

I Love You Is Universal

These basic sign language gestures are universal, "I Love You." When my kids were little, I taught them this. Smiling with the sweet memories - we could communicate across a gymnasium, up to the stage, or from the back of a classroom with school activities for a calming effect. I particularly like the "Love" gesture, arms folded across the chest as if in a hug. One can truly feel the sign when making it. To whom will you be expressing your love? :-)
