I am struck by the wonderful incongruency of that quote from A Little Princess.  Feeling, acting, BEING a princess isn't about what the world thinks of you.  It's about what is inside.  And really what are the characteristic traits of a princess - kindness, refinement, an air of grace and inner beauty.  These are things worth learning, understanding and adopting as good behavior.  Pretty is as pretty does, so they say. 

Here I'm sharing a lovely dress by VIRTUAL DIVA, seriously awesome heels/stockings by MOSQUITO'S WAY, and BOARDWALK EVENT participants - STARLIGHT DESIGNS and LYNNS FLOWERS & GIFTS.  These creations make it easy to look the part of a princess in Second Life.  Then, we just have to feel it and act it even when no one notices.  :)

Wait. Disco is now considered Retro? Omg, say it isn't so! I always considered Retro to be the 50's, 60's, even 70's. I think I'm getting old. I guess younger peeps think of the 90's as Retro. Difficult to wrap my head around that. ;)
