My Special Place

I'm wearing Flippant's exclusive for the event, BCA Tank & Capris in Pink. I adore this outfit! It has so many fits it's probably going to fit you. I'm modeling the Maitreya fit and it fits perfectly. My necklace is also by Flippant - it's a group gift!!

I was struggling with an expanded theme for this post, until I unboxed Outside The Box!'s offering for Rock Your Rack, this lovely furniture set called The Art Room. The thought struck me, how women need a special place to go - to create, to meditate, to be one with nature, sometimes to just simply "be." An art room would be one such place that would make me happy. This is a beautiful set for your Second Life home. It includes animations and rezzables.

I added some super cute little sneakers by Tooty Fruity called Tip Toe #2 in pink. Find these on Marketplace and pick your color!

This gorgeous Virtual Diva dress is called Inspiration, and you'll find it at Swank. It is figure fitting with lots of classic and mesh sizing options. The roses chest add-on is included; the dress can be worn with or without. Or make your entrance with, and shed it later. ;)

Lots more to be found at Swank! Here I'm showing a closeup of one lipstick option on the Omega hud by Oceane, called Metallix Lipsticks. Yummy. Also for your pleasure are Monochromatic nails by Luna Body Art. And Mellow offers us delicate braided bracelets; I'm showing them in White. Need a little pretty something but don't want to delve into a whole jewelry set? Pop these on for a finished look.

I know I keep alternating between my Lelutka and Catwa heads. I like them both. This is Candy and she certainly is pretty. With so many options released for Catwa heads, as a blogger I had to have it, and this one is my favorite. I think the lip shape is lovely.

The closeup is beneficial for focusing on my Rezology hair. This style is called Blunted Topknot. Look at the nice work on the bangs framing my face. A lovely salon cut!

I'm A Swankie Girl

That's all there is to it - I'm a Swankie Girl. I'll make no excuses for the fact that I like nice things. But I'm a shrewd Swankie Girl. I like my nice things in Second Life to be at a great price to stretch my lindens...for more nice things! As a blogger, I love sharing with you special finds, those things that will make your eyes light up too -and- save you lindens. My mission is easy when I share creations waiting for us at the Swank Event. In this post are fantastic items from four designers currently in the event!

My dress, fur stole and matching hat are by Dot-Be Fashion, named Martine. Martine is available in six different textures, all of them so different and beautiful it was tough to pick which one to share. The dress has a wide variety of fits from this clever designer; even the stole has different sizes. Remember at the beginning of mesh offerings when we had to "cookie cutter" ourselves into our clothes? Not so any more!

My heels are by Ch's Designs and they are called Ibel. Here is another clever designer; these heels are accompanied by a fifteen-color Hud! Again, the variety of wear options for different feet is impressive - Slink High, Maitreya, Belleza, TMP, N-Core. We Swankie Girls like pretty heels with options, for a pretty price! Yes, we want it all...and we CAN have it all.

In this post, I have six lovelies to share with you from Swank! This marvelous round of the event is "Luck O' the Irish." The event features top-drawer creators with items for us at 300Ls or under. Now how can we resist?

Home decor is by Outside the Box! and lovelies they are indeed. The Celtic Cabinet is a fine piece to add to your living area with a warm wood texture and Celtic design on the front.  The Art of Wine - Framed Pics are really marvelous, yielding wine country charm to any style. 

The jewelry I'm proudly wearing is by Chop Zuey, a collection named Fair Olivia. The pearlized stones are beautiful. The accompanying ring can be moved to middle or ring finger if you prefer - I like it boldly displayed on my index finger.

Luna Body Art offers us polish for SLink Nails, called Lucky Me! This is just one of the textures included in the Hud.

Below are the Killer High Heeled Shoes by Void. Included are different fits for classic and mesh bodies. These would be cute with system or applier jeans, or short skirts. I thought they paired well with my jumper!

This jumper and blouse combo is by Prism Designs. It's style is cute and sassy; the blouse is unbuttoned low and the jumper leaves lots of pretty leg showing. Rather sexy school-girlish and perfect for the March theme at Swank.

My hair is Jennifer by Phoenix Hair! Jennifer is at Hairology this round, and she's a lovely one! The style is a long ponytail down the back, ALL the way down the back, with some pieces artfully escaping on the left. Jewelry wearers, this leaves the right ear exposed for showcasing earrings.

Peace on Earth Hunt

Peace on Earth 8 is a Grid Wide Hunt from December 1st through January 9th! There is a wonderful lineup of sponsors participating, all with lovely gifts for you. This is what the hunt globe looks like. This hunt is NOT a tricky one with cleverly hidden objects. It will be fun and delightful; the globes are located not overly far from the landing point in plain view. Who can resist throwing a snowball, compliments of Poses with Attitude (POE8), with the first snow of the season? I sure can't, but I'm going to have to go in soon, need to bundle up more for a monumental snowball fight! Fortunately my feet are cozy in my Yeti Winter Boots from KC Couture. Duck, I'm aiming for you! :p
