Life is just a classroom

We're all bored, we're all so tired of everything

We wait for trains that just aren't comin'

We show off our different scarlet letters

Trust me, mine is better

We're so young but we're on the road to ruin

We play dumb but we know exactly what we're doin'

We cry tears of mascara in the bathroom

Honey, life is just a classroom

'Cause, baby, I could build a castle

Out of all the bricks they threw at me

And every day is like a battle

But every night with us is like a dream

Baby, we're the new romantics

Come on, come along with me

Heartbreak is the national anthem

We sing it proudly

We are too busy dancin'

To get knocked off our feet

Baby, we're the new romantics

The best people in life are free

                        ~~New Romantics, Taylor Swift

Captured for the queen

I've seen all good people turn their heads each day

So satisfied I'm on my way

I've seen all good people turn their heads each day

So satisfied I'm on my way

Take a straight and stronger course

To the corner of your life

Make the white queen run so fast

She hasn't got time to make you wise

'Cause it's time, it's time in time with your time

And its news is captured

For the queen to use!

Move me on to any black square

Use me anytime you want

Just remember that the goal

Is for us all to capture all we want (Move me on to any black square)

Waiting for a booth

Remember the days when the host quizzed, "Smoking, or Non-Smoking?"  Now, it's "Booth, or High Table?"  I will settle for a high table when a place is really busy, but I much prefer a booth.  They're cozy and intimate.  It's more date-like.  ;)

Black heart

I don't care 'bout your good intentions

I care more 'bout your bad dreams

I wanna love on a new dimension

You know I'm gonna be

Under the blossom tree

You're my miracle, oh, oh, oh

Under the blossom tree

'Cause you're my miracle, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

In your black heart is where you'll find me

Cutting through the cracks of the concrete

In your black heart is where you'll find me waiting
