Uh-Oh. when one is putting up the Christmas decorations, and counts five out of six kittens....

I'm wearing new mesh releases from NoName, Bonita top and Blair shorts. They are velvet and come with Huds for pretty coordinated changes. The top has several wear options; the shorts are standard sizes. One texture for the top is "I Has Boobs!" for making a fun and obvious statement, lol.

At the SayCute! Event, !Kushi! has a kiosk for her marvelous textures. This particular set that I used on my Christmas boxes is called HoleInMyHeart. !Kushi! offers a wide range of textures for all sorts of projects. I love blogging but am woefully ignorant in the sense of actual design work...and even I have bought from !Kushi! in the past for background material. Hey, I made these boxes, woot! Solitude Plus One

Taking a moment of solitude, my little buddy by my side, I'm thankful for the blessings of this past year. I have my health, my family, a good job, friends - RL & SL, and such a fun pasttime of blogging. I've "met" some truly wonderful people through blogging and hope to meet many more!

In this post, I'm sharing two super cute releases by Fi's Creations. The sweater is called Keep Me Warm, of 100% mesh in standard sizes, with choices of 3 color packs - Blues, Pinks & Naturals. The denim pants are Morgan, also 100% mesh standard, in choices of Bleached, Faded Blue & Dark Blue. This is a great casual set for cooler weather, and can be dressed up with accessories. The belt and belt loop details are excellent. The sweater and pants both worked perfectly with my Maitreya mesh body, and of course, are readily wearable for Classic Avies.

I have only recently come on board as an official group blogger for Fi's Creations, and am trying to catch up with items here and there. They're just too cute not to show you! I looked up a previous post of a Fi's Creation (gorgeous dress) that I'd done, in March 2015. If you'd like to look, here's the link - Love Knows Not Mine or Thine. Smiling, I remember things going on at the time of most of my posts. In that one, my RL daughter was inworld with me, all dressed up as well. We had fun at that shoot!

Kate is featuring this boho jewelry collection, and wonderfully detailed tribal sandals at the SayCute! event. I love these pretty pieces, they are an intriguing combination of delicate and bold with turquoise gems and beads. Be prepared to tell people where you got them, because they will ask! :-)

Speaking of art, Cuqui's Sarah cropped poncho is quite a fashion statement. There are several colors from which to choose, and it is available now at SayCute!

The SayCute! Event has exquisite designer styles. The event has grown this round, is in a new, bigger and better location and its success is obvious. If you're not acquainted with event designers that I'm featuring, the event itself is a wonderful way to see what these stores have to offer. You can pick up a few LMs and explore the main locations of the stores as you have time. 

This particular outfit is created by Sofie's Selection. The Over The Shoulder Coat is separate, so the Dress can be worn without it. Add some tights and different boots if you wish for a different look. Or even jeans, it can be worn as a long sweater. You know how I love versatile pieces!

The SayCute! Event strikes my blog again, and happily so! This post includes two designers at the event, BusenuR and Coven Spells. This is the Special Christmas Skin by BusenuR which is diva-strikingly pretty, pale with just a hint of color and dark ruby lipstick. Lady vampires might like it, as well as Goth Girls. There are two other skins being featured at the event, one an exclusive and one a gift! Shapes are also available, grab these and have fun.

Coven Spells is offering this intriguing outfit called Baby Yaya. Included with the outfit are the heels for Slink High feet, which match the petals attachment. It also includes the head piece w/clamp and horns. Roleplay? Or just Diva every day. You decide. :-)

I'm again wearing Scarlett hair by Virtual Diva, so you can have another look at it. The first time I blogged it I wore the Vanilla. This is Cherry. She is quite possibly prettier than the Vanilla, but it will take me many outfits to pick my favorite. Fine by me, I'll enjoy them in any color. You can too if you pick up a mixed pack.

To Grandmother's House We Go

I'm getting the car packed with my pails of Christmas goodies to take to grandmother's house. It IS over the river and through the woods, but we do travel by car these days. ;)  These cute little Carry Me Goodies Pails are by Irrie's Dollhouse and are gacha fun at The Winter Gacha Festival! The SayCute! Event is underway! I have several treats to share with you specifically at the event now. My outfit is by MOoH! and is named Emily. This is the Cloud color, and it is also offered in Black. Sizing is standard and there is also a Fitmesh size for the jacket. I added these tres sexy "Structure" stockings by Simply Me!, and also available at the SayCute! event. The hud includes 6 color options so they can be a great wardrobe staple.

Oh-so-kissable lips anyone? This is another lovely offering at the SayCute! Event, by A.K. Body Shop. It is I am BOLD Lipstick. The colors are luscious and definitely bold in an attractive way. 

I changed my Mayfly Eye color to Soft Majorelle. I got unstuck from using the same one for several posts! So many outfit or mood coordinating colors. The store participates in 60L Weekends which is a great way to pick up some colors at a discounted price. There are also free eyes so you can try them out and see what all the buzz is.

The Day After

I usually wear the Lelutka Mesh Head, but sometimes create blog posts without it to showcase a skin sponsor, Sugarush. For the past few weeks, I have been slowly converting to a new shape (I have an avatar identity crisis with face changes in particular). I'm pretty happy with the end result. She looks rather French to me. 

I was working on these pics when news of the terrorist attack in Paris reached me. This made my avatar conversion bitter sweet. My heart goes out of France as they struggle through this tragedy.

She saw the man on the hill taking photographs. She waved, and after a hesitation, he waved back. This must be the applicant. He made his way over, more slowly than she would have liked. She led him to the rear of the chateau, and offered refreshment which he courteously declined. She smiled, "Good, a man who gets straight to business. Show me your hands." He said "My...hands, why?" He thought how fortunate he was, to have merely stopped to take tourist pics and now to be spending time with this lovely woman. She said "Because you must be firm yet loving with your touch." His mind ran away with itself, as he repeated, "My...touch." She wondered if he was a bit daft. "Yes, your touch. You must show me your ability to hold firmly yet lovingly, and shape and mold. It's a requirement." His eyes began sparkling. 

She said "Would you prefer to change first?" He grinned, "Oh I think I'm ready now." She said "All right, let's go round them up!" He said "Round what/who up?" She tilted her head, amused, "The sheep, of course, for shearing. What did you think I meant?"

He told her, finally, that he must leave if he were to ever break the Sorceress' curse. The handmaiden said, but it's not possible! You could be struck by a hunter's arrow! He let her stroke his downy feathers as he reassured, then I've but to soar like an eagle and no arrow will find its mark.

She said but what if the forest rages with fire? The prince calmed her, then like the phoenix, I will rise to return to you. My love.
