In The High Country

Honey pack your bags, grab your old blue jeans

We're gonna go fishin' in a mountain stream

Well I know a little shack way up in the hills

Twenty five miles from Harrietville

In the high country

Honey you should see all the stars up there

They shine so bright through the cold night air

I'm gonna build you a fire that'll burn real hot

And I'll stay with you at the old camp hut

In the high country

Probably time to invest in some curtains

There's a Peeping Tom sat outside my window

He's been there for days

And now it's only gotten gotten onto Sunday

And I think it's time to play

'Cause there is nothing more that I like than to be seen

Open up your eyes

Realize

'Cause Peeping Tom I've got a big surprise

So I slide across my hood and what do I see?

Sure as hell, the Peeping Tom is looking at me

So I simply

Accidentally

Carelessly

Drop my dressing gown for him to see

So Peeping Tom keep on looking at me

Peeping Tom tell me

What do you see?

What do you see?

What do you see?

What do you see?

What do - what do you see?

Sparkle and Shine

People are like stained glass windows.

They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,

but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed

only if there is a light from within.

Magenta

The sky is falling on your eyes

Magenta

Parting seas to look inside

Lighting up the room of fireflies

Minutiae

Feels like love is close tonight

Driving fast, moving slow

On our way to Paradiso

Turn up to the radio

Three two one, away we go

We get it, we get it

When I can't pray, I pray for you

Don't wanna stop

I swear I'm touching God herself

I wanna become part of you

I want, I want

I wanna keep you to myself

I was left unsupervised with the color wheel

Who says kitchens must be utilitarian?  Not in my world!

Chez Moi Furnitures has released the Bellshire Kitchen Collection at Tres Chic this month.  This is a compact set which will fit neatly in your decorating plans with a texture change hud for counters, wood and metal.  Actually, I like a utilitarian look too - tinkering with it I was able to blend it with the walls and floor if one would like to really "clutter" it up with more objects and let them stand out instead.

At the Gacha Garden this month, MOoH! presents a (last)* Modern Rug Gacha.  These rugs are awesome!  I was excited to see this half round mandala rug shown here.  My penchant for colors did a back flip.

*Support your gacha creators while they scramble to rework gacha collections to comply with Second Life's TOS restrictions.  If you haven't heard, the official news is HERE.

Serenity of Submission

“It's hard for an educated woman to turn her head off...."

"...That's part of the joy of being a submissive. None of the decisions are yours. When you can't refuse anything and can't even move, those voices in your head go silent. All you can do, and all you are permitted to do, is feel.”

          ― Cherise Sinclair, Dark Citadel

I'm not a submissive but have certainly read enough about it.  Being empathetic, I understand the serenity of giving up decisions to a trusted loved one.  There's a beautiful symmetry to that ebb and flow, and it's a great gift never to be taken lightly.  Can you imagine feeling that cared for?  Please be careful in our virtual world.  Not everyone exploring BDSM has well-meaning intent.

Great reads, btw.  Cherise Sinclair's Masters series.
