My little art retreat

To me, this is the perfect start for the perfect she shed!  A couple of chairs, a blankie in case it gets cooler, with some lovely art and hanging hearts.  Add a cabin with scenic surround and I'm up for some serious zen relaxation.  More painting too, of course.

This post is all about Serenity Style.  The Lincoln Set can be found at Uber, while the Hanging Hearts are part of MadPea's Valentine Hunt 2023.  Integrate these softer tones at will with your furnishings for just the right touch of beauty.

Happy shopping!

Guard my heart

...but you can't see my point of view

'Cause you're too caught up in protecting you

I'll put on a smile and wait just like I often do

You say we're friends so I'll just guard this heart

If I told you might tear me apart, tear me apart

I know you don't believe it but I could never do that to you

How I wish that you could see it all from the eyes I look through

Tropical winter instead

It's so cold here

Encased in all this white

But we can dream

Dream of a tropical winter instead.

Next year

No more dreaming

We'll really do it

That tropical winter instead.

Treat her like she's not yours

Your love’s not burning with that same old glow

You’re tryin’ to win what you already won

You love her and you want to let her know

Well, buddy this is my opinion.

She wants to feel like it’s the first time

You gotta shower her with chivalry

She’s full of fantasy from nursery rhymes

I know what I would do if it were me.

Sweep her off her feet with a slow slow dance

Hold her like she’s holding on to new romance

If you want a love what you can be sure

Take her out and treat her like she’s not yours.

First Impression (Rose)

You've been on my mind from the day we met

and ever since the time I cannot forget

the look in your eyes, the smile on your face,

the words you spoke so soft, they can never be erased.

And I don't know what you can possibly see in me

but I'm glad you see something.

I didn't think there was anybody out there for me

but that all changed the moment I met you.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone

That's a quote by Neale Donald Walsch, an American Novelist.  It makes us feel alive to go just beyond our comfort zone.  Step just a bit past the known to experience more.  To me, the quote doesn't mean be reckless, it means be smart while conquering fears.  You'll find YOU along the way.
