Story of the Great Armoire

The new lady of the house

purchased the armoire,

in her mind's eye, the perfect spot

in the second floor bedroom,

the location of her desire.

The moving crew pushed, and they shoved

and they pushed some more

but try as they might

the armoire never made it past the landing

of the first floor.
