Once Upon A December

Far away, long ago,
Glowing dim as an ember,
Things my heart
Used to know,
Once upon a December.

Someone holds me safe and warm.
Horses prance through a silver storm.
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory...

Far away, long ago,
Glowing dim as an ember,
Things my heart
Used to know,
Things it yearns to remember...

And a song
Someone sings
Once upon a December.

~~ Once Upon A December, Anastasia

Never Could Resist Your Smile

In your touch there's tenderness
A sweet caress that soothes all pain
When I'm lost and feelin' low
To you I go to rise again

But nothin' means as much
Nothin' seems to touch
Your smile
If anything I'd miss
Never could resist
Your smile

Baby, smile
When you smile
My life shines
When you smile
When you smile…

One More Christmas Beer

It's that time of year
When we all get together
And afterwards we wonder why
'Cause the later it gets
The drunker we are
Someone always ends up in a fight

Well you'd think that a family
Could try to get along
At least this one day a year
But the fact is we can't,
We never will
So pass me one more Christmas beer.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em
Get drunk and annoy 'em
I'm usually the one who tries to hold it together,
But someone smoked up all my Christmas cheer
We don't know any better
Same thing, different year
God bless the family, can't wait 'til it's over
Pass me one more Christmas beer.

Warily The Inflatable Reindeer Watched The Dog's Approach

Up on the rooftop, reindeer pause
(Well, it's really an inflatable lawn decoration,
so here they're on the ground.)

Out jumps good ol' Santa Claus
(He's not jumping out really, he's attached.)

Down through the chimney with lots of toys
All for the little ones, Christmas joys
Ho, Ho, Ho! Who wouldn't go?
Ho, Ho, Ho! Who wouldn't go?
(Going down the chimney is probably a mistake,
inflatable, remember?)

Up on the rooftop, click, click, click
Down through the chimney with good Saint Nick
(And hey, where's the rest of the reindeer??
And the snow, for that matter.)

This Christmas decor item by Chez Moi Furnitures is SUPER cute, and a necessary-sim this holiday.  You'll find it at Cosmo until December 14th.  But no poking it with sharp objects!

Happy shopping!

White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

Just Jewelry And Shoes For Christmas

And I know that to you it's just jewelry and shoes
But to me, they're the smile on your face
Cause baby you've been the glue and the nails and screws
That have managed to keep me in place

And I'm hoping that a melody will let you know
That I'm waiting for a Christmas kiss with mistletoe

~~ All I Can Give You, Jason Lancaster

Sure, sweetheart, I'm happy to give you a Christmas kiss.  But where ARE my jewelry and shoe gifts??  I'm waiting, unadorned.  ;)

Happy shopping!

Christmas Shopping In One Fell Swoopity Doo

Leave it to Serenity Style to help us with Christmas shopping transport!  The Holidays Car is at Uber until December 22nd.  There is a decor version (shown) and also one to drive.  I've never gotten the hang of driving vehicles inworld so my excursion was...interesting.  I'm sure my neighbors had other thoughts on the subject but I've paid for the damage!

Ladies, pop over to MOoH! for a great group discount on the Esmee Outfit.  This one is a super cute sweater dress and matching thigh high boots with texture huds.  Be sure to wear your tag for the discount!  You will get this outfit at a sweet deal until December 12th.

Happy shopping!
