In A World Of My Own

If I had a world of my own,
everything would be nonsense.
Nothing would be what it is,
because everything would be what it isn't.
And contrary wise,
everything what it is, it wouldn't be.
And what it wouldn't be, it would.

Swank - She Only Wanted Flowers

That Cadillac in the driveway, hadn't move in 18 days,
That dresser full of clothes I bought, it just takes up space
That jewelry on the vanity, lays around in vain
When I look around at all I see, the girl had everything.

But she only wanted flowers,
It's the little things that matter,
All the pretty things that money brings
Didn't mean a thing to her!
Yeah I gave her what I thought she needed,
But I missed the forest for the trees and now
I'm sitting here without her,
Why I could not see?
She only wanted flowers!

The last thing we did together was tear each other apart,
Splitting everything down the middle
From the end back to the start.
She looked down at that diamond ring and broke down in the hall
When her tears fell on that marble, she said, "Baby keep it all!"

Cause she only wanted flowers,
It's the little things that matter,
All the pretty things that money brings
Didn't mean a thing to her!
Yeah I gave her what I thought she needed,
But I missed the forest for the trees and now
I'm sitting here without her,
Why I could not see?
She only wanted flowers!

Swank - Soft As Spring

Soft as Spring
The bluebird's wing
The song you sing
Is like heaven on earth to me

 Cool new dawn
A wide-eyed fawn
Are like your song
They are heaven on earth to me

A sudden need to hold you
A sudden need to love
And in my arms enfold you
Then I'll ask nothing more of you

 Soft as Spring
The bluebird's wing
The song you sing
Is like heaven to me

Cleo Design - Hanging Hammock, Boxes, Lilacs

The Olde Attic - Tulip Buoy

Now that's a hardcore blogger for ya - not completely unpacked to start a beach house vacation and already on the laptop opening virtual boxes! ;) That would...probably be me, cough. As it is, we usually take "staycations"...we have pets...so I do quite a bit of vacation blogging anyway!

Visit the Home & Garden Expo - it's bigger/better and for such a worthy cause - Relay for Life. I'll try to blog as much as I can to cover it; I got a slow start with initial group invite troubles but all fixed now.

And! Anytime we want to get down to business, this darling hairstyle by Sn@tch called Yuqi will help. Whip your pretty tresses up in an artfully messy bun and off you go!

Say Nighty Night And Kiss Me

Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singing in the sycamore trees
Dream a little dream of me

 Say nighty-night and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me
While I'm alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me

Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this

Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me

Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this

Sweet dreams, till sunbeams find you
Gotta keep dreaming leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
You gotta make me a promise, promise to me
You'll dream, dream a little of me

The Look Of Love

The look of love
Is saying so much more than
Just words could every say
And what my heart has heard
Well it takes my breath away

I can hardly wait to hold you
Feel my arms around you
How long I have waited
Waited just to love you
Now that I have found you

You've got the look of love
It's on your face
A look that time can't erase
Baby be mine, tonight

Let this be just the start of
So many nights like this
Let's take a lovers vow
And seal it with a kiss

Don't ever go
Don't ever go
I love you so

Singing In The Shower

I don't know, it's just something about ya
Got me feeling like I can't be without ya
Anytime someone mention your name
I be feeling as if I'm around ya

Ain't no words to describe you baby
All I know is that you take me high
Can you tell that you drive me crazy?
'Cause I can’t get you out my mind

Thinkin' of ya when I'm goin' to bed
When I wake up think of ya again
You are my homie, lover and friend
Exactly why

 You light me up inside
Like the 4th of July
Whenever your around
I always seem to smile

 And people ask me how
Well your the reason why
I'm dancing in the mirror and singing in the shower
Ladade ladada ladada
Singing in the shower
Ladade ladada ladada
Singing in the shower

All I want, all I need is your lovin'
Baby you make me hot like an oven
Since you came you know what I've discovered
Baby I don't need me another
