It should be no surprise that monster slayers strategize at the tavern. There's really no other place to go! Then, any deals struck are typically drunken deals. Wine and beer, beer and wine...pick your poison...then off you go to slay a myriad of monsters for coins or promises of other treasure.
Just be sure that those promising won't slay YOU after the slaying....
