That is a lovely quote by Lady Bird Johnson. Flowers herald spring, love, and the hope of bright tomorrows. Growing up, I'd watch my dad section out his garden by integrating wild flowers with vegetable seeds. Then he would add intricate rows of flower bulbs amid lush greenery. Something was always in bloom and I would gaze at the garden in awe for hours. I wish I'd paid more attention to the methods of his gardening madness so I could replicate that beauty today but I sure do picture it clearly in my memories. Those thoughts always give me hope of bright tomorrows.
