It's best to ignore baby octopuses as they creep about in the sand

After all, THEY don't know they're inflatable and we wouldn't want them to pop prematurely.

The plural of octopus is debatable.  Octopuses, octopi, octopodes.  Researching, it appears octopuses is the most correct.  However, historically it was best not to say "octopuses" at the tea table.  Octopods, dropping the 'e,' became more preferred in English usage.

You really needed to know that, right?
