It was a self-induced "punishment." No one told her to sit in the corner. But she sent herself there. She had been feeling down, very down on herself...and was determined to feel better. She knew no one else could raise her spirits. Her feelings, her recovery to make. She placed her little love sign on the wall in front of her and gazed at it with concentration. "Love Thyself," she said, over and over. She reached out to trace the pink heart lightly with her finger. "LOVE THYSELF." She repeated. And she waited for the calm to return. When it did this time, she would make it stay longer. A little bit longer, each time.
