Dan Fogelberg was an iconic songwriter and performer (not to mention quite easy on the eyes). He lived from 1951 to 2007 when he unfortunately lost his battle to prostate cancer. There's a poignancy and message of hope to these lyrics, love a little stronger, make it last a little longer. In his own life, Dan was married three times of relatively short stint. I believe these lyrics came from his own heart and intention.

Dan graced us with many memorable songs like the one above. Another one of my faves is Longer, which I had sung at my wedding - so that tells you the flavor of it. It's difficult to pick only one fave. His own favorite and straight from his heart, is Leader of the Band. If you only have time to experience one for yourself, listen to Leader of the Band.

My only question is, why has Dan Fogelberg not been inducted into the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame? At least the Denver Music Hall of Fame got it right for one of their own.
