The Enchantment event begins today! I am totally excited about this "Royalty" round. The designers have pulled out all stops and things are royal indeed! I decided to begin my coverage of the event in this post with...a castle-like chateau and cohesively lovely decor items. I plan on using this along with other lovelies as backdrop in other pics, but I wanted these to shine on their own first.
I am reminded of periods in history when the queens went on retreat, particularly Marie Antoinette in 1783. Her retreat, Hameau de la Reine, was much more rustic in style. However, the grounds sported flower gardens and was certainly fit for a queen while she entertained visiting aristocracy...as this one is!
