Those lyrics refer to shopping....right? ;) When my mom was a young, vintage beauty, she vacationed with girlfriends in Miami. She told the tale of fun in the hot sun and lots of shopping! Apparently the cabana boys were very concerned about her pale skin and followed her everywhere offering to put lotion on her, lol. But that's a different story. She said during the plentiful waves of shopping, all the girls would rush back to their rooms to hit the showers. It's a hot sticky business shopping in Miami!

More hotness - is this outfit gorgeous or what? This is Shakira, by Cherry Bloom, found at Cosmopolitan (but only for a couple more days to strike now while it's...hot? lol). This set is Maitreya only, and comes with two separate texture huds for my fave - mix-n-matching. The huds include both solids and patterns. It's a gotta-gotta-get set! It's sizzlingly modern yet reminiscent of what my mom wore vintage shopping in Miami. Add some little cateye sunglasses and off you go.

My hair is Fada by Vanity Hair, and she can be found at the Vanity Event. Fada has bangs and the cutest looped braids. I love all the texture options. Are you a fatpack nut like me, or do you know your colors and stick with them? Also worn are jewelry lovelies by Elle Boutique - Mia earrings and Amara belly ring. We must accessorize! My heels are by Mosquito's Way called Brenda. Miami-ish for shopping? Sure, but any pretty lady needs them. They're perfect for anywhere, and do include the highly customizable texture hud.

The main pose used is by Image Essentials, called Holiday Shopping. The set includes the shopping bag props. I think they're fabulous for shopping any time of the year - Christmas and certainly shopping in Miami.
