I've had a dizzyingly destructive, great heights of euphoria and despair, love like this. Can you relate? As horrible as it ultimately became, I'd never felt so alive, so connected to another human being. Once I could finally walk away and heal, I realized he too had tried...in his own way. We must forgive people for our perceived onslaught of pain. And not really for them, for ourselves.
