She Who Must Be Obeyed

Here are three items from the Ross Event, and more! I feel like I'm channeling Ursula Andress. There were no unicorns in the story, but have you ever seen the movie "She?" Fantasy fodder for young girls, how gorgeous was Ursula in that one. How handsome was Leo! "She Who Must Be Obeyed." Indeed. Does this pic remind you of any movies?

From Damoour comes this gorgeously Grecian-ish mini dress. It has a bow in the back and includes fitted sizes. (I love my boots from Maitreya!) Another Ross Event lovely - Sintiklia's Lioness Hair. My pose is by joplino from the Darlene set.

Honorable mention goes to Persefona for another marvelous hair accessory - Butterflies on Hair. These are available at Cosmopolitan. Butterfly Bedroom Set by OTB!

Recently I was chatting with Kasslina Moonglow, owner of Outside the Box! She asked if I had any suggestions for future releases. I said butterflies!

To my delight, she was already working on a bedroom set! How perfect is that for the first day of spring?

This is Outside the Box's Butterfly Set, bringing the beauty of nature inside. The bed includes animations in PG or Adult versions. String lights adorn the headboard and and run along the floor on each side.

The hanging plant cage also contains butterflies.

The accompanying phone table has a matching cushion and sit animations.

Happiness is a Way of Life

This pleasing set of home furnishing/decor is by Serenity Style, named Ly One Way Shelf. It's available at the GEN-Neutral Event. My original goal when starting work on this post was to practice combining items in a room setting. I've seen wonderful posts by far more experienced bloggers, capturing mood, the perfect lighting and many items for a complete picture. But when I finished the above pic, I was pretty darn happy with it! The shelf and accompanying decor is a picturesque standalone of beautiful work by Serenity Style. Can you think of ways to add it to your own home furnishings?

I've had this lovely outfit to blog for some time (abashed expression) from my sweet designer friend at Whymsical Marketplace. Considering it often, I wasn't dreaming up what I felt was the right setting, the right pose to show off the beauty of the clothing...things just weren't coming together in my head. So I would pass on it and work on other things. But when I read the wall hanging with this furniture, "Happiness is not a destination, it is a way of life," suddenly I knew that I wanted to blog the outfit! This is Whymsical Marketplace's Scheherazade. There is an adult version of it too, oooh. The set includes the silk skirt and anklets for Slink High feet.

What totally fit in my head at that moment is, happiness really should be our way of life. If I want to dance around my living room in beautiful jewelry and silks, in real life OR Second Life, and it doesn't hurt anyone, well, I should! You should! Find what makes you happy. And you know, especially in Second Life, which is either an extension or escape from reality, why on earth would we be doing things that do not make us happy?

The Magician's Assistant

Did you ever want to be a magician when you were little? I wanted to be the magician's assistant. The beautiful girl who posed, in a lovely, sexy outfit. She would look out into the audience so poised and confident. The magician would be Tony Curtis as Houdini, in my young girl fantasies. Ever so handsome and considerate to his assistant while performing his feats of magic! The audience would oooh and ahhh in wonder. I wanted to be the assistant, well, right up until that sawing in half thing. Pass!

So before that part of the entertainment (ha), I'm wearing !Bougie!'s lovely Amerie dress. This applier outfit is available at the mainstore. As in the advertisement pic, I then HAD to go to the Whore Couture event and pick up Empire's Azalea Heels. Isn't the dress and heels combo perfect? How clever a dress design!

My poses are by {Nantra}, a fun set right in line with my magician's assistant fantasies, called Sleight of Hand. These can be found at the Oneword event. Props come with the set so you can perform your own magic show!

Celtic Garden Party at Swank

Come join me for my little Celtic garden party here at home. :-)

Though green may be done for some tomorrow, not me! I love green, so I'll probably still be sharing lots of green for the rest of the month. The Swank Event has plenty of green for you for this round of Luck o' the Irish. To be fair, not just green, so many of the fashions are available in other colors too! Utter Femininity

I published this post this morning before RL work! Now I'm back to add some description before more sharing. This jewelry set by Zuri Rayna is truly exquisite. It's call Maija, Champagne & Diamonds. The glistening diamonds and soft, luminescent pearls are breathtakingly beautiful in this set. There's a softness to it that states utter femininity.

Slipper Originals' Sunny Tube Top will definitely get a workout adding from inventory with warm weather approaching! This tube top comes in standard and SLink mesh sizing. I'm wearing it with my Maitreya body, so it's sizing will mostly likely work with others as well. Now the thing about this top, the accompanying texture hud offers oh, pretty much every color. That's easier said than listing the colors! :-)

My pose in the first pic is Sensuality 5 (mirror) by Image Essentials. This is a pack of fabulous poses I picked up at the store's 50L Weekend sale. An innocent temptress! If the sale items have been switched out, never fear, it will be something else just as wonderful or you can hunt down these poses not far away.

I'm also wearing Blacklace Beauty makeup on my Lelutka head. It covers the eye/lip applier options, but I do want to mention the Glam Affair applier I have on. Look at my pretty pink cheeks and innocent eyebrow arch. I love the soft but very noticeable pink! I think this applier may have the pinkest cheeks released by Glam Affair thus far. It has my vote!

Flippant Does Burlesque at Ross Event

Flippant has flipped her wig and gone burlesque! I have only one thing to say about this development - Yay!  lol  Flippant's Ali Burlesque outfit, consisting of Corset, Panty, Heels & Choker are available now at the Ross Event! The costume is perfect for the theme this round - which is Cinema. The Burlesque movie is one of my faves and "Ali" would fit right in. Ali doesn't have to be on stage (although she surely deserves to be)...you can strut around sexily wearing it in your own boudoir.

My pose is by Eternal Dream Poses, No. 5 of the Body Moving set. This set and more are being featured at Pose Fair 2016 now. BIG event, lots to see, pack a lunch because you'll be there awhile.

I also want to mention my hairstyle, by [elikatira]. This is Adaline and sweet she is. The designer is moving cross-country in RL, and she decided to keep her store heavily populated by offering us a fabulous sale, all individual color packs are 75Ls each! We've only got a couple of weeks to clear out the store, lol, let's go!
