Making Strides Against Breast Cancer!
LUXE Paris Fashion House will be part of the BLOSSOMS of HOPE SHOWCASE this month! The Blossoms of Hope Showcase is a special shopping event to benefit the 2016 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Second Life campaign.
Until Oct 30th, the Showcase is a multi-sim extravaganza that also will include a number of fun events like an Art Auction, the 2016 Strides Walk and the Breast Cancer Survivors & Caregivers Honor Ball.
The Showcase also will include a One of A Kind auction, raffles, a hunt, a gatcha garden and a silent auction. A special feature of each day will be Radio Days @ Blossoms of Hope where select Second Life radio stations will be broadcasting live from the event. There will also be a Haunted House for all to enjoy.
The Blossoms of Hope Showcase is the highlight fundraising event of the 2016 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Second Life campaign. Each store will have at least 2 vendors with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to the American Cancer Society.
Making Strides has been in action since 1984 with the first walk in Boston pulling in 200 people participating! It immediately became an annual tradition in the city and we’re working toward the same energy! In 2011 we brought Strides to SL. Last year we raised here in Second Life over $9000 USD, and this is the fifth year for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) in Second Life!
